About Megan Cooper, Executive Director
Megan Cooper joined FilmDayton in 2011. Dayton has been Megan's home since moving from Indiana to attend the Univeristy of Dayton. After completing her Master's of Arts, Megan began working in development to raise funds for important community causes. Since making Dayton her home, she has been active with many programs within the community including Culture Works, Updayton, Activated Spaces and many local theatre troupes.
Megan is pleased to bring her love of the community, passion for arts, experience with nonprofit administration, and belief in the possibility for a vibrant film scene to FilmDayton. Thanks to everyone who is a part of this great organization. And special thanks to the many dedicated filmmakers - writers, producers, directors, actors, tech specialists - who know that they can love where they live, live where they work, and work on what they love - all in DAYTON!
