Film Club
The Film FilmDayton & Muse Machine Club at Centerville High School
FilmDayton partnered with Dayton’s most celebrated 30-year-old arts education organization, The Muses Machine, to expand it’s offerings into film production and technical instruction for high school students. Beginning in February, FilmDayton presented a nine-week curriculum at Centerville High School and included a storyboarding session with Dayton-based artist J. Todd Anderson (who creates storyboards for RAISING ARIZONA, O’ BROTHER WHERE ART THOU, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN filmmakers, the Coen Brothers) , scriptwriting, filming, editing, and critiques. Student’s final short films, along with script readings took place at the 2nd Annual FilmDayton Festival.
