Collaboration tool

All, I've dug around into several on-line (free) collaboration tools. So far, the best one looks like something called comindwork.
I'd like a couple of folks to help me try it out. Please let me know if you're interested and I'll set you up.

See http://www.comindwork.com/ for an overview. I've already set up a project to get us started.

Thought I'd start a list of some of my favorite web links. Hope everyone can send some in as well. I found this little gem a few months ago - http://www.storysense.com/docs/SPFormat.pdf. It's a short…

Screenwriting software

Comparison of Celtx and Final Draft. I thought I’d take a look at Celtx as it was mentioned as a possible screenplay writing tool. I’ve used Final Draft (FD - v.7) for a couple of years. It works p…

Hi folks, thought I'd join the excitement. I'm working on a graphic novel script, similar but different from film in how it reads and is structured. Brevity is important to leave room for the art. And with still images selection of the defining moment is even more important than in film.

Joe et al,

I think you've got a good group going, but I'm trying to finish up a sci-fi novel and apply to graduate schools. Wish I had more time. Good luck in the New Year to one and all.

Eight screenwriters attended the first ‘Dayton Screenwriters Group’ meeting (and two more joined up later at the Film Dayton meeting). Our group ranges from novice to professional screenwriters. The group’s goals are to read and critique each others’ screenplays, share information, and perhaps write a group project. At our next meeting we will pitch ideas for screenplays set in the Dayton area.

So it got cold, did everybody give up on doing a collabo? I'm on the same project Gregg is on - could use the help if anyone's interested. Btw - anyone check out the Celtix program for screenwriting? It's a free download - poor man's version of final draft.

Hi Karen. I use Final Draft (version 7) quite a bit. It can be a little bit quirky, but a little of trial and error solves most problems. Save early and save often. If you can describe specific problem(s) I might be able to help. JG.

What are you having problems with, exactly?
Karen Kelly Comment by Karen Kelly on September 25, 2009 at 3:27pm
Hey, does anyone here use Final Draft? I am not a techie and kinda having trouble with it,....darn it. It seems like a great program. Any tidbits of advice? Thanks!
