Feb 24th Film Connections:
Our sixth "Film Connections" meeting at ThinkTV went very nicely,
thank you, with more than 60 people in attendance to hear
presentations and view work from BarbaraO, Aileen Leblanc and
Michael and Sandy Bashaw.
BarbaraO talked about her documentary film in progress, which
explores African-American culture and faith and their African
spiritual roots. Interesting stuff, and very interestingly
shown.
Leblanc showed a piece of "Dayton Codebreakers" and the new film
she is working on about the movement of Ethiopian Jews to Israel.
The Bashaws, her musical collaborators, talked with her about how
they all three put together the music and film into a cohesive
whole.
It was a fun and good night of viewing, talking, sharing,
networking and learning.
