REGIONALLY CONNECTED FILMS

THE DAYTON REGION HAS A RICH HERITAGE OF FILM MAKING

That’s evident when you take a look at the timeline of just how many films have been touched by regional filmmakers, locations and talent. Special thanks to local filmmaker Ann Rotalante  for compiling this list for FilmDayton. As a filmmaker who lives and works in the region, Ann knows we’ve got all it takes to make great films (just check out her 2010 film True Nature). This list demonstrates just how many other filmmakers know what we’ve got as well.

These films consist of productions that are over 40 minutes long that were either shot in the Miami Valley region or included Miami Valley residents such as crew, producers, actresses, actors, storyboard artists, editors and any other positions in the film industry working on it.  (Note: Years represent release date, not necessarily the year in which production was shot.)
